BasicsOf.AI is operated by INAGAWA. This policy explains what data the site handles when you visit, which is very little, and how it is used.
The short version
BasicsOf.AI has no accounts, no advertising, and no tracking. It does not set analytics or marketing cookies, and it does not sell or share your personal data. The only data involved is the standard server log that almost every website keeps, plus the requests your browser makes to load each page.
What the site collects
The site has no sign-up, no login, and no forms, so you do not hand over any personal details to read it. When a page is requested, the web server keeps a standard access log that can include your IP address, the type of browser and device you use, the page you requested, the date and time, and the page you came from. This log is used to keep the site running and secure, for example to find errors and block abuse. It is not used to build a profile of you or to identify you personally.
Cookies
The site does not set tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. When you choose a light or dark appearance, that single preference is stored by your own browser on your device. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Services your browser contacts
To display a page, your browser loads a few files from third-party networks. Those networks receive your IP address as part of sending the files, the same way any website you visit does. Two such services are involved.
- jsDelivr, a content delivery network, serves the small scripts that power smooth navigation and the diagrams.
- Google Fonts serves the two typefaces the site uses.
These providers may record the request in their own logs as part of delivering the file, and we do not control that logging. You can read how each one handles data in its own privacy notice. We plan to serve these files from our own server over time, which removes this step.
Where the site is hosted
The site is hosted by IONOS on a server located in the United States. The server access log described above is processed there. If you visit from outside the United States, the request that loads the page reaches that server.
How long data is kept
Server access logs are kept only as long as they are useful for running and securing the site, then deleted, following the host's standard practice. There is no other store of visitor data, because the site does not collect any.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to get a copy, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how it is used. Because the site keeps only short-lived server logs and no account data, in most cases there is nothing held that identifies you beyond those logs. To make a request, see the Contact section below.
Children
The site is general-audience educational material and is not directed at children under 16. It does not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the site changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
